Waikiki Beach Walk® has launched a refreshed version of its website www.waikikibeachwalk.com, and a new Japanese website jp.waikikibeachwalk.com.  The contemporary web design enhances the consumer experience, providing a virtual tour through the nearly eight acre, two-level, open air shopping and dining plaza with more than 40 retailers and restaurants in the heart of Waikiki.
Outrigger Enterprises Group, which leases and manages Waikiki Beach Walk®, hired PRTech, LLC., an online marketing affiliate of PacRim Marketing Group, to contemporize the English site and develop the new Japanese site.   Both websites are now responsive—viewable on all digital devices—with animation and additional photos, videos, and information.  Navigation is simple with the click of a curser on a photo or with the use of a search function to find retail, dining, and event information.   
“Social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter embedded on the home page make the website a great place for consumers to share experiences and learn more about Waikiki Beach Walk® before they visit,” said PRTech’s Lead Developer Yonghao Yan.    
“The English website redesign coincided with Waikiki Beach Walk’s® rebranding and uses our new logo and the latest information and technology,” said Conchita Malaqui, General Manager at Waikiki Beach Walk®.  “English and Japanese speaking website visitors are searching the mall directory for merchandise,  and  interacting and commenting about Waikiki Beach Walk’s® events, shops, and dining, which is good for increasing foot traffic and overall interest.”
