Honolulu—PacRim Marketing Group was voted one of the favorite Hawaii brands in the first bracket of a Brand Madness competition launched by PBN (Pacific Business News) in September, which had readers choosing the firm they like best across a range of industries.

For the competition, PBN selected brands topping categories in its Book of Lists. PacRim Marketing Group was the favored public relations firm, receiving 58 percent more of PBN’s readers’ votes than another top PR firm.

According to A. Kam Napier, editor-in-chief at Pacific Business News, “Bracket 1 got off to a strong start, with readers clicking madly to vote for their favorite Hawaii brands.”

Ultimately, readers will vote for the one best-liked brand from the Book of Lists, narrowed from 64 brands at the top of their industries.

According to Dave Erdman, PacRim Marketing Group CEO, "I'm honored by this recognition because it means that our fellow Hawaii and Pacific Rim business leaders like the promises that the PacRim brand makes and delivers. They like what we are delivering to our clients by increasing the Asian International Traveler portion of their businesses; they like the way we are advocates of Hawaii's tourism industry; they like the way our employees build good relationships and collaborate with other Hawaii businesses. Our Aloha Spirit is resonating within Hawaii and to our targeted Asian traveler markets, and it makes me very proud.”
