“Best In Show" Goes To Pacrim Marketing Group

Honolulu, Hawaii—PacRim Marketing Group took top honors at Friday night’s Koa Anvil Awards event, which recognizes outstanding public relations programs and tactics. PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Hawaii awarded PacRim “Best in Show” and a Koa Anvil for its Tiffany & Co. Ziegfeld Collection campaign and an Award of Excellence for #TheBigMove.

PacRim Marketing Group targeted a diverse customer mix of resident and Asian International Travelers in their Tiffany & Co. Hawaii public relations program to increase awareness of the Ziegfeld Collection.  The program #tiffanyjazzage social media event and champagne reception celebrated the brand’s role as a fine jeweler on Warner Bros. Pictures & Bazmark film, The Great Gatspy.  

An Award of Excellence went to PacRim Marketing Group for its #TheBigMove brand awareness campaign, which included local media coverage, e-blast announcements, and a Facebook contest to increase awareness of PacRim Marketing Group’s office move to Ala Moana Pacific Center, suite 888.  

The Koa Anvil Awards competition was established in 1983.  PRSA chapters in other states judge Hawaii entries for best public relations programs based on four main criteria: research, planning, execution, and evaluation. The competition is intended to help public relations practitioners develop better plans, use creativity to produce better results, and increase professional skill levels to produce the best public relations programs and tools.

PacRim Marketing Group has been the recipient of PRSA’s Koa Anvils and Koa Hammers (a tool/tactic, which is part of a public relations program) in the past for programs, including its Korean-language video, “Hawaii Style,” parodying the top viewed video on YouTube at the time, “Gangnam Style” and for Reputation/Brand Management campaigns.
